MicroMax has shipped the first batch of M-Max 800 PR rugged industrial computers withstanding -55 °CJune 29, 2012
MicroMax has released the first commercial lot of M-Max 800 PR/LMZ. This is a modified version of M-Max 800 PR, a high-performance rugged industrial computer, with an enhanced I/O which enables startup at extremely low temperatures.
MicroMax's team has successfully solved a number of tricky engineering problems to guarantee a stable "cold start" of the system, assuring at the same time a power threshold under all conditions. The fanless M-Max 800 PR/LMZ, housed in a rugged aluminum enclosure with dual shock and vibration protection, has passed a number of extensive tests during which the temperature in the testing chamber was lowered down to -55 °C and the system has repeatedly started at -50 °C.
Now, the M-Max family of rugged industrial computers are not only protected from moisture, dust, vibration and shock, but are also insulated from extremely low temperatures.
