M-Max 800 PR is a high-performance rugged industrial computer for demanding and critical applications requiring performance comparable to high-end desktop systems. The M-Max 800 PR with passive cooling has no competition in the high-performance ruggedized computing market. Designed for operation in harsh environments including extreme temperatures, dust, humidity and vibration, the basic version of the M-Max 800 PR is IP65 (IEC-952) rated. The system is based on Intel's Core 2 Duo SP9300 CPU (2.26 GHz, 6 MB L2 cache, FSB 1066 MHz) and Intel's GS45 + 82801 chipset. The integrated graphics controller, Intel GMA 4500, provides perfect 2D and 3D capabilities as well as hardware video decoding. M-Max 800 PR has a LAN Gigabit Ethernet port, 2 RS232/422/485 serial ports, 6 USB 2.0 ports (2 ports for keyboard and mouse). Data storage options include a vibration proof HDD or an industrial SSD. Power consumption in the basic configuration is 45 W maximum. The rugged aluminum enclosure with dual shock and vibration protection systems, as well as the passive cooling system (no fans) provides highly reliable silent operation in harsh environments and the extended temperature range: -40 to +55 °Ñ. These complex features bundled in one system, allow the M-Max800 PR to tackle the most demanding computing tasks.
