Pandora Pandora Enclosure System Pandora is an enclosure system designed by Diamond Systems for use with our PNL-EAP panel I/O board mated to a Prometheus, Athena CPU board. (When mated to an Athena, the upper temperature limit is reduced.) It features fast and easy assembly due to the fact that most or all internal cables can be eliminated. Rather than requiring the installation of special corner mounts or forcing the stack into a set of corner guides, the entire stack is bolted directly to the front plate of the case, forming a rugged, easily-handled assembly. The PC/104 Pandora case measures 5.5" wide by 5.75" high. It comes in three lengths: The 1.7"(43.18mm) case accommodates the CPU, the panel I/O board, and an optional notebook hard drive. The 3.0"(76.2mm) case accommodates the CPU, panel board, up to two additional PC/104 boards, and an optional notebook hard drive. The 5.0"(127mm) case accommodates the CPU, panel board, up to five additional PC/104 boards, and an optional notebook hard drive. Case lengths accommodate PC/104 boards with stackthrough configuration (long pins on the bottom side) at the bottom of the stack so no special effort is required to obtain non-stackthrough boards or to cut the connector pins. The length is also sufficient to enable mounting a notebook hard drive below the bottom board and attaching it to the rear end plate. The 3.0" length is designed with the intention of accommodating two additional boards. A typical configuration might include a VGA board and a DC/DC power supply for use in mobile applications. However any two boards can be installed. The interior cavity is wide enough to install any PC/104 board with almost any I/O connector, including pin headers with ejector latches. Each Pandora case includes case body, front plate to accommodate the panel board, rear plate, and all mounting hardware (screws and spacers). Additional end plates are available separately.
Jupiter-MM-LP
Jupiter-MM-LP 25 Watt Low-Cost DC/DC Power Supply Jupiter-MM-LP (JMM-LP) is a low-cost DC/DC power supply ideal for PC/104 applications with lower power requirements. This supply is the lightest-weight PC/104 DC/DC supply available anywhere, due to the fact that it requires no heatsink. Extended temperature rating is included at no additional charge, making Jupiter-MM-LP a true bargain compared to competitive products that require an additional charge.

Jupiter-MM 50 Watt PC/104 DC/DC Power Supply for Vehicle Applications This rugged, extended-temperature DC/DC power supply is designed specifically for air and ground vehicle applications. It consists of a PC/104 form factor module with complete DC-DC voltage regulator circuitry, heat sink, input and output connectors, power-good indicator lamps, and both 8-bit and 16-bit PC/104 bus headers. Input voltage range is 7 to 30VDC, making it suitable for use with both 12V and 24V systems. Output power is provided directly onto the PC/104 bus connectors, as well as on an auxiliary connector for external tapping. Both dual output (+5, +12) and quad output (+5, +12, -5, -12) versions are available. Up to 10 amps can be provided on the +5 output, or the 50 watts of total power can be distributed across the 4 outputs. The low-profile SMT design guarantees that you can add other PC/104 modules on top of this board without any worries of mechanical interference. Simply stack your CPU and other cards on top or below the power supply module to provide power to your PC/104 system.
Neptune
Neptune EPIC format CPU with integrated autocalibrating analog I/O, digital I/O and DC/DC power supply Neptune is an ultra high integration EPIC form factor single board computer combining state-of-the-art CPU and I/O technology with Diamond System’s renowned high accuracy data acquisition circuitry on a single board. Neptune is available with a selection of CPU modules, offering you the perfect combination of price, performance and power. Neptune also offers up to 2GB of DDR/DDR2 DRAM via SODIMM, provides a PC/104-Plus interface for expansion, supporting both PCI and ISA. Neptune incorporates advanced features such as a front side bus (FSB) ranging from 400MHz to 667MHz depending on the CPU module, four USB ports and S-ATA hard drive interface, depending on the CPU module. The dual graphics engines support both 2D and 3D graphics on dual independent CRT and LVDS displays. Neptune provides both 10/100BaseT and Gigabit Ethernet. Hard drive support is through CompactFlash, rugged IDE FlashDisk and USB bus interfaces. Six RS-232 serial ports (four with RS-422/485), AC ’97 audio, and legacy keyboard, mouse, floppy, parallel and IDE hard drive interfaces are also provided. Neptune’s optional integrated data acquisition has 32 single ended or 16 differential analog inputs with 16-bit resolution and 250KHz sample rate, four 32-bit analog inputs with 100KHz waveform output capability, autocalibration of the analog circuits, eight optically isolated digital inputs, eight optically isolated digital outputs, 24 programmable digital I/O lines, and two counter/timers. It supports both interrupt and DMA A/D transfers and it uses an enhanced 1,024-sample FIFO with programmable threshold for maximum flexibility and data reliability. Software support is provided for Windows XP, Linux and Windows CE as well as Diamond System’s Universal Driver programming software for the data acquisition circuitry. For harsh environments, Neptune is engineered with all on-board I/O brought to pin headers with cables available for every connector interface. I/O that utilizes PC-style connectors is placed such that a small panel I/O board can be used to convert to PC-style connectors for use in an enclosure. Standard versions of Neptune operate from 0 to +60°C. Select models have an extended operating temperature range of -40° to +85°C. Conformal coating is available.
Rhodeus
Rhodeus Low Power AMD Geode LX800 PC/104 CPU Module with CRT/LCD, LAN and CompactFlash Rhodeus is a fan-less PC/104 SBC which features the AMD Geode LX800 low power consumption processor running at 500MHz. It uses high speed DDR SDRAM providing maximum capacity at 1GB. Rhodeus offers fully integrated PC functionality with low power consumption which allows Rhodeus to operate in harsh environments where the airflow for heat dissipation is restricted and heat sinks or fans are unacceptable. Its ruggedability gives it the power to perform round-the-clock in unattended environments. Other advantages of Rhodeus includes high speed 10/100 Ethernet LAN and ample I/O interfaces, 2 serial ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports, parallel port for peripheral connection, 1 ATA-33 channel, Compact Flash Type-II socket, PC/104 expansion bus, LCD & CRT interface, floppy, and watchdog timer. Rhodeus has all the necessary features and expansion capability in 96 X 90 mm form factor, which makes it ideal for applications where space is limited but multiple I/O configurations are needed. Rhodeus supports Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows CE 5.0, and Linux.
Helios
Helios 300MHz to 800MHz PC/104 Single Board Computer Helios is a low power, mid range performance PC/104 form factor single board computer combining a highly integrated CPU with Diamond Systems’ renowned high‑accuracy data acquisition circuitry on a single board, reducing size and cost while increasing ruggedness. Helios utilizes a Vortex integrated single chip CPU operating at 300MHz or 800MHz and 128MB or 256MB of DRAM soldered on-board. Helios incorporates advanced features such as four USB 2.0 ports, an IDE hard drive interface, mounting capability for a solid state flashdisk up to 4GB, and CRT/LVDS LCD graphics. Helios also provides a 10/100Base-T Ethernet interface, two RS-232 serial ports, two RS-232/422/485 serial ports and legacy keyboard and mouse interfaces. Helios is extremely rugged, featuring on-board soldered DRAM and -40°C to +85°C fan-less operation. CM3-BT1 Extreme Rugged PCI-104 Single Board Computer with Intel Atom Processor E3800 Series SOC The CMx-BTx is a PC/104-based, Single Board Computer (SBC), fully compliant with the PCI-104 Specification, Version 1.1 and partially compliant with the PC/104 Specification, Version 2.6. PC/104 SBCs are very compact and highly integrated computers. This SBC features the 22nm, Intel Bay Trail SoC.
