FreeForm Daughter Board
Adapter for FreeForm/104 FPGA development board
The Daughter Board is an adapter for Connect Tech’s FreeForm/104 FPGA development board that enables users to capture and process synchronous and asynchronous RS‑232 or RS-485/RS-422 serial data with customizable FPGA implementations.
When used with a FreeForm/104 FPGA development board, the Daughter Board allows for easy and rapid design changes at run time, which makes it ideal for high speed, compute intensive, reconfigurable applications.

PC/104 based FPGA development board
FreeForm/104 is a PC/104 based FPGA development board for digital I/O and control applications.
Based on Xilinx’s Spartan-3E, Connect Tech’s FreeForm/104 provides off-the-shelf flexibility, making it ideal for high speed, compute-intensive, reconfigurable applications. The FPGA configuration is stored in flash memory, allowing users to easily implement design changes during development or in the field.
Customized FPGA configurations can be developed easily by the user with the free Xilinx ISE WebPACK software, or through Connect Tech’s engineering services.
The versatility and high speed processing core of the FreeForm/104 makes it ideal for applications including; DSP, software defined radio, aerospace, defense systems, computer hardware emulation, production or laboratory testing and industrial process monitoring and control.

PCI-104 board for serial communications
Connect Tech’s robust Xtreme product family now includes high density optical isolation as an additional feature to its product offering. Xtreme/PCI-104 Opto provides the highest port density, with 12 ports on a PCI‑104 card, along with the added protection of 1kV optical isolation on a rugged and compact form factor.
Dependability, high speed data transfer rates and 1kV of optical isolation protection makes these cards ideal for critical applications whereby harsh conditions may disrupt communications.

Providing the maximum in flexibility, this PCI-104 card allows you to choose from multiple electrical interfaces, protocols and encoding schemes to ensure your hardware solution is ideally suited to your specific application.
ComSync/PCI-104 is PCI-104 1.0 compliant and includes a PCI-104 stack-through connector to interface with a PCI-104 card stack.

Connect Tech’s Xtreme I/O Opto is a 48-bit isolated PCI‑104 Digital I/O board grouped with 24 optically isolated inputs and 24 optically isolated outputs. The flexibility of the FPGA technology allows integration and customization to meet application requirements.
Fully PCI-104 compliant, Xtreme I/O Opto Digital I/O can be controlled directly from a memory mapped register set in any operating system.

An extension of Connect Tech’s PCI Express product family, the BlueStorm/Express Opto offers dependability and high speed data transfer rates along with 3kV optical isolation. This added protection makes PCI Express Opto cards ideal in environments where harsh conditions may disrupt communications.
Available with four ports of RS-232/422/485 connectivity, these PCI Express x1 lane cards are compatible with x1, x4, x8, x16 lane PCI Express slots. Upgrading a PCI system to the more efficient PCI Express requires a hardware change only as your new PCI Express system is backwards compatible with PCI software.
